INTIMATE NYC WEDDING AT THE EAST POLE

Simple moment between wedding couple as groom touches her face.

You might guess as you start to scroll photos, but this incredible couple met in Vegas! They brought all the party vibes to their intimate wedding in NYC at East Pole!

Matt, the groom, knew right away that Amanda was “the one”. He even told his dad he had met the one that “checked all the boxes”. As for Amanda, her mom, Laurel recalled noticing the difference in Amanda after meeting Matt. There was such tenderness when Amanda spoke of him. Laurel knew Matt was a keeper and going to be a part of Amanda’s life.

Amanda also knew that Matt was “the one” because she felt so comfortable around him. He supports her goals and ambitions and makes her feel so loved each day. What a match!

The initial wedding plan was a big wedding in Cabo with their friends worldwide joining them. While it was a great plan, our lovebirds realized that not everyone could travel for their big day. What to do? They managed to squeeze in an intimate wedding in NYC before their Cabo wedding. This allowed them to share such an important day with those closest and dearest to them both. And, oh yes, they could even include their pup, Rupert, for their wedding portraits as well!

Our original plan was to take photos in Central Park, but heavy rain pushed us into the lounge area of their east side apartment instead. To say that was a blessing in disguise would be an understatement! Caviar, champagne toasts, mezcal and cuddled up with Rupert? It was the indoor photo session of our dreams.

We absolutely loved the intention behind this intimate wedding.

Amanda’s fashion was so fun and chic-we appreciate a whimsical bride around here! Matt looked dapper in his class tuxedo. And Rupert-well he was also impeccably outfitted for the occasion.

After their intimate ceremony with just immediate family, the couple was joined by some close family and friends at the restaurant for dinner and toasts. And even being a small event? Dancing was a highlight of the night.

So, if you’re planning an intimate wedding in NYC, I can assure you that it’ll be just as memorable as a larger event. And when you’re ready to find a photographer, I’d love to be considered to capture your day!

What a joy to be part of such a special moment! This NYC rooftop proposal for Jared and Jessica was flawless and so romantic! Jared was able to “trick” her into coming under the guise of helping a friend check out a new apartment space! Myself and Sun & Moon Planning already had the space […]
